Join us for an exciting program
that will allow you to experience first-hand how and why Equine Assisted Counseling is so powerful for clients in recovery.
Horses live in the present moment and give immediate, unfiltered
and honest feedback to those around them. Although there are amazing
similarities between horses and humans, many of our common characteristics are naturally exhibited by horses but require
work for people to achieve, such as honesty, living in the now, and observation skills. Activities with the horses set up
metaphors allowing self-awareness and healing for clients. You'll see a group activity as well as a one-on-one activity.
This program is outdoors at a horse stable so please dress appropriately: casual clothes and close-toed shoes a must, hats recommended. We will be asking for audience participation so come prepared to have fun!
